I have nearly fifty years' experience in the wood finishing business, and still work as a practising Modern Finisher, French Polisher, Restoration Polisher, Industrial Consultant and Teacher. I have also worked on many prestigious commissions. I started my career as an apprentice French Polisher. I then moved onto industrial finishing, and worked in this field for 26 years. In 1984 I moved into teaching, which I still work at part-time. I enjoy passing on my skills, experience and enthusiasm for my craft to others, with the minimum of paperwork and the maximum of hands-on experience. I am currently based at Bewdley Museum, where I have my own workshop.
