This vibrant fruit base is crowned with a generous, artisanal crumble topping made from the fine Heygates flour, perfectly rubbed to achieve a beautifully short, melt-in-the-mouth texture. As it heats in your oven, the fruit bubbles through the golden crust while the scattered demerara sugar caramelises into a delightful, crunchy finish. Hand-crafted with over a century of family food heritage in Knowle, this elegant dessert brings authentic, rustic luxury straight to your dinner table.
Cooking Tips
Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze within the use-by date and consume within 180 days. Defrost thoroughly in a fridge before cooking; once defrosted, use within the same day and do not refreeze. Remove all packaging before cooking.
Oven Cook: Pre-heat your oven. Place the crumble on a baking tray and cook for 20 minutes at 180°C / 170°C Fan / Gas Mark 4 until the topping is golden-brown and the fruit is bubbling.
Air Fryer: Cook at 170°C for 20 minutes, checking halfway through to ensure a perfectly crisp crust.

We began our online delivery service to help serve our community in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. We’ve always had certain things we like done a certain way. And most of these have to do with making fresh food from the finest ingredients. Like our flour. We get it straight from the mill for our pies and pastries. And our meats, freshly supplied by reputable farmers with a keen sense of quality. Even our seasonal fruit and veg comes straight from local farms, and then goes right into our customers’ baskets and ready meals.
