Description

Made with the finest quality meats and sourced from our award-winning local supplier, Adlington, this easy-to-carve Christmas centre-piece is bursting with flavour. Bacon pairs excellently with many foods, and this is especially true with turkey. The bacon moistens the roast turkey breast whilst also adding a subtle smoky flavour, taking your Christmas dinner to the next level. Both meats are sourced from trusted local suppliers who use progressive, free-range farming methods.
Cooking Tips
Leave to settle for at least an hour at room temperature. Pre-heat oven to 190C or gas mark 5. Loosely cover with aluminium foil. Roast the turkey for the calculated time, occasionally basting with the pan juices. 20 mins before the end remove the foil and continue to cook until the bacon becomes crisp. Ensure that the centre of the joint is piping hot (75C) and that the juices run clear. Allow to rest for 15 mins before carving.

We’ve always had certain things we like done a certain way. And most of these have to do with making fresh food from the finest ingredients. Like our flour. We get it straight from the mill for our pies and pastries. And our meats, freshly supplied by reputable farmers with a keen sense of quality. Even our seasonal fruit and veg comes straight from local farms, and then goes right into our customers’ baskets and ready meals.
