Cooking Tips
Cleaning: Start by rinsing the sprouts under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Trim the stem end if needed.
Boiling: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the cleaned sprouts and cook for 3-5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. You can also steam them for a similar amount of time.
Sautéing: Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little oil or butter. Add the sprouts and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they're tender and lightly browned.
Roasting: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread them on a baking sheet. Roast for about 20-25 minutes or until they are browned and crisp at the edges.
Seasoning: Season the sprouts with your choice of seasonings. Common options include salt, pepper, garlic, lemon juice, or grated Parmesan cheese.
Remember to adjust the cooking time according to your preference for sprout tenderness. They can be served as a side dish, in salads, or as a component of various recipes.

We’ve always had certain things we like done a certain way. And most of these have to do with making fresh food from the finest ingredients. Like our flour. We get it straight from the mill for our pies and pastries. And our meats, freshly supplied by reputable farmers with a keen sense of quality. Even our seasonal fruit and veg comes straight from local farms, and then goes right into our customers’ baskets and ready meals.
