Our delicious sticky and crispy honey & soy chicken thighs with sesame seeds are a hearty and crowd pleasing meal. Made with the very best skin on chicken thighs, this recipe delivers melt in the mouth goodness with a sweet and sticky sauce. Perfect for a mid-week meal or a weekend treat.
Shopping list
- 3 skinless chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp garlic & ginger paste
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Rice, to serve
Method
Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6
Mix the soy, honey, 1 tbsp of the oil and ½ tbsp garlic & ginger paste in a bowl to make the marinade.
Pour over the chicken thighs and leave to marinate if you have time, don’t worry if not though – they will be delicious either way!
Add the chicken to the roasting tin skin side up and pour half of the marinade over them, reserve the other half for later!
Cook for 45 mins until sticky and the skin is crispy.
When the chicken is cooked, brush over the rest of the marinade and sprinkle with the sesame seeds to serve!
Pick the broccoli into florets and cut in half and boil for 1 minute
