Pan-Fried Pork Chops

A simple but delicious way to enjoy your pork chops.

This recipe sees grilled pork chops paired with caramelised onions cooked in a white wine sauce.

Method

Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan and then add the onions until caramelised.

Deglaze the saucepan with white wine and reduce to half. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens.

Grill the pork chops for around 15 minutes until cooked through and crispy, flipping halfway through. The centre of the pork needs to be around 77°C for safe eating — you can check this using one of our MEATER+ wireless temperature probes.

Plate up the pork chops and caramelised onions alongside your choice of vegetables.

 4 Pork chops
 2 Onions, finely minced
 1 tsp Olive oil
 30 g Cotswold butter
 125 ml White wine
 Salt and pepper, to taste
