MASTER THE ART OF BUTCHERY WITH ERIC LYONS

Join us at Eric Lyons in Knowle for a hands-on introduction to butchery. Our butchery classes offer an engaging and practical way to develop essential skills in a welcoming environment.

Led by our friendly team of expert butchers, you’ll learn how to handle and sharpen knives correctly, break down a whole chicken, and butcher a pork belly with confidence. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to get involved and learn something new.

Over the course of the evening, you’ll gain practical skills that you can use at home while working with high-quality ingredients. After your session, you’ll sit down to a freshly prepared meal and a glass of wine.

At the end of the class, you’ll take home everything you’ve butchered, including a whole chicken broken down into usable cuts, pork belly slices, and a rolled and tied roasting joint, as well as a branded Eric Lyons apron to remember the experience when you’re cooking at home!

Our butchery classes are ideal for those who want to learn a new skill in an interactive and friendly setting. Whether you’re looking for a unique experience, a thoughtful gift, or an engaging corporate activity to enjoy with friends or colleagues, our butchery classes provide expert guidance in a relaxed atmosphere.

Classes are £169 per person and run from 6pm to 9pm, with a maximum of nine participants per session. Your session will be hosted by Nick Lyons, alongside one other expert from our team. Each butchery class is designed to be informative, engaging, and rewarding.
