Description
We like to use Streaky Bacon for our Bacon Lardons as it is fattier than back bacon, and cut from the belly instead of the loin. The high fat content in streaky bacon is renowned for being full of delicious flavour, which makes it perfect for using as bacon lardons.
Prepared by our butchers in convenient, ready-to-cook lardons. Perfectly diced into cubes for your convenience, they're the ultimate time-saver for your favorite recipes!
Cooking Tips
Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat until hot. Add the bacon lardons, ensuring there is enough room for them all to be flat on the pan.
When the fat begins to melt, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes. Flip and cook until they are nice and crispy!
We love ours in pasta dishes such as Spahghetti Carbonara. Or add to sprouts for the ultimate Christmas side dish!
