This is a butcher with a difference! Conveniently located on Knowle High Street with plenty of nearby parking. As you enter, grab a wicker shopping basket. You're going to need it! Super cuts of fresh meat, kebabs, etc. Move over to the left, and you have Eric Lyons pies. Once tasted, there's no going back. Rammed full of delicious meat, choices such as chicken, steak, and ale. Then, they have a hot counter, so grab your snack here. Over to the fridges there are cheeses, puddings, fresh pocketed foods to eat or home freeze. In the middle are all the sauces, bread, veg, and other fresh meats. As you can tell, it's a bit of a one stop high quality shop! Staff are helpful and friendly so you really have a decent shopping experience. We gave family in Scotland who get it delivered there, they love it so much!
First time using Eric Lyon’s and I’m so impressed! The quality and taste is just exceptional and I’m really enjoying each meal and looking forward to dinner time again. The delivery service is so helpful if you don’t live local as it’s all fresh and comes so quickly.
Recently had buffet food from here for our sons Christening and it was fantastic quality with people commenting how good the food was. There was a good variety and enough to satisfy everyone. Would definitely recommend and use for any future events.
Arrived on time. Very well packaged. Only tried the pasties as yet but if everything else is as delicious I will be reordering. Pasties were absolutely packed with tasty and well seasoned mince beef and veg. Fabulous pastry, perfect. Quick update, ate the lamb and mint family pie yesterday,packed with tender pieces of lamb, crust was luscious.

I've stopped buying others nothing compares! sliced up to freeze is easy, they don't fall apart or lose any filling.Selection of products whether ordering online or at the shop is extensive, the knowledge and customer service second to none.Great food & look forward to buying from you again
I was so impressed by my Eric Lyons Christmas order. We've moved to East Sussex and our order of both chilled and frozen products travelled overnight, arriving next day in perfect condition in excellent insulated packaging.I'll definitely be ordering online again!
Bought a fish and chip supper from the local chip shop when my wife and myself visited Knowle, which included a Eric Lyons steak and kidney pie. When we returned home I ordered some of these pies to be delivered.The order came a couple of days later, and I was impressed at the care and packaging that they came with.Even the ice block that was inserted in the substantial packaging was still partially frozen. WELL DONE
We had our pie and skittles night last Saturday and 36 of us enjoy a selection of all your pies. Absolutely delicious, all plates came back empty. I can certainly say the lamb and mint was amazing, meat just melted and the right hint of mint. Eric Lyons you never disappoint from service to quality you are the best. Many thanks Pat Medina
Excellent family butcher, mixing old fashioned, high standards of customer service with the option of modern cuts, styles and products. We started to visit there store about twelve months ago when looking for quality and provenance for the meat we bought, and now won’t go anywhere else. The nationwide delivery is a massive bonus now too!

They have a great website which offers a handy choice of collection or home delivery service, and we’ve been customers since moving to Knowle 27 years ago, and happily recommend them to family and friends far and wide. Had a hog roast supplied and served by staff at Eric Lyon’s, food was amazing and service was first class. They delivered all the equipment the day before and setup, arrived on time the next day with the hog, set it going. Came back and finished it off and served for 2 hours to my guests. Cleared all away, everything. Can’t recommend them enough, would definitely use them again

Delivery Service
We began our online delivery service to help serve our community in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. It proved vital to help many residents get through some tough months and is a service we are very happy to continue improving. We currently have 2 separate delivery services for Local and National.
Provenance
We’ve always had certain things we like done a certain way. And most of these have to do with making fresh food from the finest ingredients. Like our flour. We get it straight from the mill for our pies and pastries. And our meats, freshly supplied by reputable farmers with a keen sense of quality. Even our seasonal fruit and veg comes straight from local farms, and then goes right into our customers’ baskets and ready meals.
